World’s First In-Theater Gaming League

The coast-to-coast, 25­ city tour will run from June 15th through August 26th to introduce Super League Gaming’s unique concept and get the word out about league gameplay, which starts with continuous 6­ week sessions on September 14th.

Each event is comprised of a 100-minute session that gives players a chance to participate in both live gameplay and free time with other gamers as they build with their teams, compete in battles, and work together to climb the international leader board.

Super League Gaming takes advantage of Minecraft’s open source API to create a 3rd person “world view” of a customized game that will be projected on the theater screen, while each individual player uses their own laptop to play in the traditional 1st person view as they compete on teams in the theater for a wholly immersive gameplay experience.

Gamers play in the traditional first-person view on their laptops while watching a customized third-person aerial ‘world view’ with all players on the big theater screen. Skillz Introduces Live Events Platform to Host eSports Competitions

LA Cosplay Con: move, load dates

Here is some important information you will need to know. I’ve attached a form above for those who need power in their booth. You will need to fill this out and send back no later then June 2nd, to Edlen who is the company handling the power needs for our show.
Move in Dates:

Friday, June 12, 7:00pm-10:00 pm and Saturday 7:00 am –10:30 am. All Booths must be set up no later then 10:30am on Saturday, June 13th.

*We have very tight time schedule that was given for move in/move out. Please keep in mind for 2016 we will be at a convention center so this will not be an issue.
Move out times:

Exhibit hall closes at 5:30. You can start breaking down your booth at this time. All materials from your booth will have to be removed and taken out of the convention no later then midnight on Saturday June 13th.

Badges:

 If you decide to move in on Friday, June 12th we can provide your badges this day.If you choose to move in on Saturday, June 13th all exhibitors will need to pick up badges at the registration booth.
All guest/speakers (with or without tables) will pick up badges in the VIP Lounge by registration located in the Constellation Ballroom 2.

Loading Docks:

For exhibitors that are driving in for LA Cosplay, you will head to the self parking area,(Solar Way, behind hotel) where staff will help you unload your vehicle and stay with your items  until you  park. Our staff will guide you though the back entrance helping you with your items and getting you to your booth.

 
Parking:
 
The Self-parking garage is located at the end of Solar Way, behind the hotel. There will be staff around this area to direct traffic for exhibitors and attendees coming in for LA Cosplay.  Cost will be  $12.00 for the day. If you would like to valet it’s $20.00.

All guests/ exhibitors will receive a complimentary wrist band to attend the after party. If you chose not to attend the party you may hand in the band to a staff member. All of our staff will be dressed in blue LA Cosplay Con shirts.

I’d like to extend my gratitude and thank everyone for being a part of LA Cosplay Con! I really appreciate everyone who’s taking the time to attend and contributed to make our 2nd year bigger and better. As a complimentary gift, we will have care packages waiting for all of our Guests, Cosplay Guests, and Speakers. These will be located in the VIP lounge in Constellation #2. You will also be able to pick up  your badges in the same room.
Here’s a quick overview of our events for the Con:
We will be having fight demonstrations provided by Renegade Effects outside on the Plaza Level. Panels will be ran throughout the con,  a movie screening,  A special live filming for an upcoming movie will also be happening during con hours, exhibitor hall, Cosplay Contest, and an after party from 8:00 pm- 11:00 pm.
We would love for all of you to enjoy the day and participate in all we have to offer. If there are certain necessities during the con that is needed, our friendly staff will be there to help.

E3 Industry Requirements

Please submit two of these forms of Employee/Company ID:

  • Insurance card listing both employee name and company name
  • Paycheck stub verifying current full-time employment within the industry
  • Company credit card listing both employee name and company name
  • W-2 Form
  • Current business license indicating type of business
  • Current Retail Sales Tax License
  • Current Resale Tax Certificate
  • Invoices within the last 6 months that show purchases of products related to the industry* (with the registrant’s name appearing on the invoice)
  • Current Federal resale tax certificate (VAT)
  • Current IGDA Membership Card

*Retail attendees are eligible for complimentary admission to E3 only if they are responsible for company purchasing. If you are unable to document your buying power by supplying company invoices, purchase orders or other purchasing transactions, you may qualify for a paid admission and should visit www.e3expo.com to register for a 3-day Expo pass.

International attendees should submit similar credentials unique to their country that confirm their employment in the interactive entertainment industry.

AGENCY Employees wishing to attend E3 should submit two of the Company/Employee IDs listed above as well as:

  • The URL to a website that documents your company’s involvement in the interactive entertainment industry
  • An official listing of the clients that you support within the interactive entertainment industry

E3 Media Requirements

Required Credentials:

Qualifications of all media outlets will be determined by the E3 2015 media registration staff. Employees of media outlets who do not work in an editorial capacity will not qualify for a media badge including: Art Directors, District Managers, Graphic Designers, Publishers, Managers, Marketing Representatives, Public Relations Personnel, Sales Representatives and Senior Level Managerial staff.

Working journalists over the age of 17 that fall under one of the below categories may register for a media badge:

Freelance Journalists:

Freelance writers from unqualified media outlets will not be admitted. In order to qualify as media, we require that you provide ALL of the following:

  • A copy of your driver’s license or government issued photo identification clearly showing your name and date of birth (no one under 17 will be admitted)
  • International media must submit a copy of your passport, and
  • A letter from a publisher, editor or producer (on their letterhead) stating that you are covering E3 2015 on assignment, and
  • A bylined interactive entertainment industry-related article from your publication (above) written by you and published within the past three months (the copy must clearly show the name of the publication and your byline).

Industry and Financial Analysts:

Please provide ALL of the following:

  • A copy of your driver’s license or government issued photo identification clearly showing your name and date of birth (no one under 17 will be admitted)
  • International media must submit a copy of your passport, and
  • A copy of your business card with name, title and company logo, and
  • A recent report or bulletin on interactive entertainment with your byline written within the past three months.


Online Reporters:

Web sites and podcasters must be previously established (fully launched and operational for at least six months) and updated regularly with original and current interactive entertainment industry news. To qualify as online media, please provide ALL of the following:

  • A copy of your driver’s license or government issued photo identification clearly showing your name and date of birth (no one under 17 will be admitted)
  • International media must submit a copy of your passport, and
  • A copy of your business card with name, editorial title and media outlet’s logo, and
  • URLs to your articles with your name and title appearing in an editorial capacity. Your articles must have been published within the past three months.

* Note: all online outlets must meet minimum site traffic requirements that vary from year to year depending on attendance. The E3 media team will use measurement sites including Compete.com, Quantcast.com and Alexa.com to evaluate each site’s traffic. The E3 media team cannot accept first party analytics.
